Becoming a Member of our Corporation
Community residents play an important role in Community Health Centres. Membership provides people who live and/or work in the catchment area of Misiway Milopemahtesewin Community Health Centre with opportunities for direct involvement and to become a candidate for election to the Board of Directors. Members are also able to vote on issues presented at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and to serve on Misiway committees.
Individuals must submit an application for membership thirty (30) days prior to an AGM.
Membership is open to individuals who:
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Have demonstrated a personal or professional interest in supporting the goals and objectives of the Corporation
• Live, work or attend school in the City of Timmins or our catchment area
• Pay the annual membership fee
Employees of the Corporation and their immediate family members (spouse, child, parent, brother, sister) are not eligible for full membership but may be non-voting members of Misiway Milopemahtesewin Community Health Centre
